3 TO 5 YEARS

As children prepare for Kindergarten, our Preschool classroom offers exciting opportunities for them to develop the skills they will need while making friends and exploring the world around them.
Our Preschool Curriculum utilizes theme-based lessons to strengthen your child’s emerging skills in reading, writing, science, technology, and math. We also help prepare your child for the structured environment of a kindergarten classroom. Through teacher-guided instruction and child-led exploration, your child will learn effective communication, the ability to follow instructions, and how to work cooperatively with peers.
Through small and large group instruction and activities, teachers focus on every child as an individual, helping them gain knowledge and thrive.
PRESCHOOL PROGRAM

In Our Preschool Program We:
Explore tempos and rhythms, sing in groups, learn about a multitude of instruments, and create beautiful artwork, as we work to increase hand-eye coordination.

Learn the habits necessary to live a healthy and active life by focusing on large motor activities along with small muscle strength to build fine-motor skills and healthy bodies. Your preschooler will develop large motor skills for sports and dance, as well as fine motor skills for writing and playing music.

Continue language development, literacy, and a love of reading. Along with fostering verbal communication, reading and writing skills continue to expand through creative journaling and a classroom filled with labeled items, expanding their vocabulary and sight word knowledge.

Help children learn numbers, measurements, and patterns through hands-on learning and by creating opportunities to combine math and science concepts in engaging activities. Measuring, comparing, and estimating, along with compiling data and forming conclusions, advance children’s math and science skills.

We promote the development of reasoning skills that allows preschool children to create innovative solutions, as well as the ability to persist in solving difficult problems. It’s all about the individual as we learn through a variety of themes and styles, so every child can progress naturally and without frustration.

Provide the tools to build confidence and self-esteem. By choosing playtime partners, forming friendships, and learning how to take care of personal needs, children build the independence and confidence needed to advance. Children will build the self-esteem and self-regulation skills necessary to succeed in elementary school. Studies show that social-emotional intelligence is one of the best indicators of future success.
