At Adventureland Academy LLC, your child is here to learn and prepare for preschool and the world around them. While our number one priority is the well being and comfort of your child, teaching and helping your child learn and grow is our goal. We want to provide the best possible education a childcare center can offer while creating an enriching environment and a solid foundation for the future.

ABOUT OUR PROGRAMS

Happy Baby

INFANTS

In the Infant Program, our teachers provide your baby with all the cuddles, love and care they need, as well as opportunities to begin learning about the world around them.

PRESCHOOL

In our Preschool Program, children start their journeys into a cooperative learning environment where they can discover interests and learn in a more structured setting. Through theme-based lessons and activities designed to bring out the strengths in every student, your child will enter kindergarten with confidence!

TODDLERS

In the Toddler classroom, patient and caring teachers guide children through playful exploration. Expert teachers harness children's natural curiosity, guiding them to discover through hands-on learning and play.

SCHOOL AGE

Our School Age Program is here to support your school-aged child by providing a nurturing and enriching environment that complements their academic requirements. Here, teachers will help with homework and provide hands-on enrichment activities and more.

Additional Elements in our Curriculum

CLASSIC HEROES

As part of our History lessons, your child will learn about classic heroes, men and women that changed the world.

From Learning about Thomas Edison's bright persistence, to Florence Nightingale's loving compassion, to inspirational stories of George Washington and Christopher Columbus. They will open their minds to great artists, inventors and explorers of the world!

Fly with the Wright Brothers as they discover "wing warping." Feel the conviction of courageous women such as Helen Keller, Joan of Ark and Marie Curie.

One new Classic Hero will be introduced every week.

GUIDING PRINCIPLES

Every week we will teach and emphasize a new Guiding Principle throughout the entire week. These principles will help your child do the right things and become a better person. Our goal is to help your child be honest, have integrity and be respectful even when no one is watching. From being honest to helping others, these Guiding Principles will teach your child great values and how to be a better member of his or her community and family.
Some examples of these Guiding Principles are: Kindness, Obedience, Being Friendly, Being Helpful, Trustworthy, Courteous, Cheerful, Brave, Respectful and many more.

BIBLE STORIES

Included in our curriculum, a new bible story is introduced every week. These stories are based on the New and Old Testament and will only include the facts as stated in the Bible.
We understand there are many religious denominations, so while we teach your child these wonderful stories, special care will be taken to ensure no doctrine, opinions or interpretations are taught or mentioned to your child. These Bible stories will be designed to familiarize your child with the characters and events found in the Bible while leaving the religious teachings to be learned at home or place of worship.
Some examples of these stories are: The Creation, Noah's ark, David and Goliath, Daniel in the Lion's den, the story of Esther and Ruth, the birth of Jesus, the Last Supper and many more.

S. T. E. A. M.

Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics.
This program is part of our School Age and summer programs. Young students are naturally curious about the world and love to learn through play and hands on activities.
Our program involves experimentation, discovery, building things and art projects. STEAM activities are designed around opportunities for students to solve real world challenges that are relevant to their lives.
